Here at MPCGamers, we’ve been very active lately! We’ve been planning contests, running tournaments, and purchasing game servers. July is shaping up to be one of MPC’s best months and we’re very happy that you guys are here to have it with.

First off on the list is Hardcore’s photography contest! Hardcore, who is one of our resident photographers, has started up a photography contest in the Art Gallery. The contest lasts throughout July, and only pictures you’ve taken in July are eligible for entry. They must be raw photos with no editing done in order to be submitted. Next up: the SWBF tournament! At MPC, Star Wars Battlefront is a game that is very important to us, and we love having tournaments with our users. As such, we have decided to run a Battlefront tournament on July 17th, using custom maps. The tournament is score-based, so come join us and have a good time! And last but not least, we have the Left 4 Dead 2 Server! We have been working towards purchasing a Left 4 Dead server for the enjoyment of our community. We are closer than ever to this goal, and hope to have the server up and running by the end of the week. It will run anything the community wishes, and hopefully will see lots of use once Left 4 Dead is finally released for our friends on the Mac platform. Until then, the server should still see good amounts of use. We do require some donations to run the server, though… if you are interested in contributing, please click here!
