Portal 2 for Mac CONFIRMED!
Yes you heard me right, the anticipated sequel to Valve’s Portal on now confirmed to be released for Mac OSX by GameInformer! Mac gamers rejoice as we finally get out piece of the cake!
EDIT: Also confirmed by Hardcore is that Steam OSX will be released sometime in May. Even better news for mac gamers.
This is AMAZING news that Mac users finally get to enjoy this great game made by probably the most respected game developer in the world. Because all Valve games run on Steam, this furthermore confirms that Steam will be coming to Mac OSX, which means other Valve games may be ported to OSX as well as a pathway for a greater number of developers willing to port games. As a Mac user, I am trilled about this news. Tell us what you think!
Portal’s great. Portal 2 will likely be great. I use a Mac.
Great to hear it, however i did also find out that May is the target date for Steam for OSX
While I can’t cite my source for this now, all Source games that you currently own will be playable on the Mac side during its beta. I cannot confirm if it will be the same during its official release.

This was bumped up to April, likely so Valve could say “in a few weeks” but none the less, even that is great news!
